One of the many benefits of the FPS® 7000 full-face mask is the head-up display (HUD) required by NFPA 1981. Always within the field of view the head-up display allows easy monitoring of the cylinder contents and battery status without any manual action by the wearer.

Dräger: FPS® 7000 Head-up Display

    • Fits easily into the FPS 7000 facemask - and can be installed or removed without the need for tools, saving time during maintenance.
    • In an emergency, the HUD can be transferred between face masks in a matter of seconds. The HUD connects automatically with the corresponding SCBA – either a Dräger PSS 7000 or PSS 5000.
    • The HUD is well protected in the facemask and can not be damaged by heat, shocks, humidity or chemicals.
    • Providing on average 360 hours of use and easily changed without the need for tools.
    • The transmitter unit wirelessly transfers data to the facemask, avoiding time consuming connection of cables, reducing costs and connection errors.
    • Red, amber and green LEDs provide precise information about your cylinders air pressure at all times.
    • n addition to the SCBA's primary low-pressure alarm whistle, a red LED on the HUD flashes if the cylinder pressure reaches the low-pressure warning threshold. This provides the wearer with an additional warning.
