GRAIN BIN RESCUE

This 20-hour course was developed for Fire/Rescue Departments who may find themselves in a situation where the would respond to an incident, where the victim is trapped in a grain storage facility or other agricultural related confined space.

The course will cover specialized training and techniques, Provincial/Federal OH & S regulations, CSA Standards and associated legislation pertaining to grain bin rescue. The participants will understand the physical and environmental hazards encountered by both the victims and rescuers during a grain bin rescue operation, as well as how to identify the proper techniques to protect themselves and the casualty at a rescue incident involving a grain storage facility.
