TECHNICAL ROPE RESCUE

This course was developed for Departments who may find themselves in a situation where technical rope skills may be required. For example, technical confined entry or technical rescue situations.

The Technical Rope Rescue training covers industrial situations involving mills, platforms, overhead cranes, tanks, vessels, and may include embankment situations as required (i.e. open pit mines).

Participants will learn how to assess a technical rope rescue situation. Develop a plan of action which includes the proper equipment to use, proper rigging set up, safety factors and methods to package and rescue a victim from a given situation safely and expediently.
